Let us explore the capital of Thailand: Bangkok. Famous for it's exquisite food, shopping and unique entertainment.

Three days itinerary in Bangkok
It was a long weekend in Singapore so we planned to go outside the country to relax, enjoy and go shopping. Bangkok was the perfect place to be as it was just 2hours and 25mins flight, affordable and serves authentic Thai cuisine.
We flew from Singapore to Suvarnabhumi airport, upon arrival you can take the taxi from the airport going to the city, they will give you the exact amount of fare written on the paper of your destination (tip is not necessary). It is helpful to print the name of your hotel in Thai as not all the drivers can understand English.
After checking in our hotel (Pratunam Area via Agoda.com), we went out to find a place to eat in Centre Point Pratunam which is 5 minutes walk, the restaurant served authentic Thai Cuisine but a bit pricey if you are on a budget you can try to go to Pratunam Mall which is also in the area.
Day 1 (Tour was booked through the hotel desk as they have reasonable packages)
8:00am - 5:00pm
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - is the largest and most popular floating market to locals and foreigners. It is located in Ratchaburi province. The driver has brought us to the port where you will take the boat to the market, upon arrival you will transfer to a different boat that goes around the market itself.

Elephant Ride - From the floating market we went straight to the Elephant Camp of Damnoen Saduak. It was an unforgettable experience as it was my first time to ride an elephant. If you are traveling solo you can ask your mahout to help you snap a picture and prepare a small amount to tip as they will ask you to buy an ivory product made from the elephants tusks.

Tiger World - a zoo where visitors can pet the tiger cubs, fret not as these tigers were tamed. You can walk around the whole place and observe the adult tigers. (A bit too pricey)

8:00pm
Khao San Road - Party place, street food and night bargains rolled in this whole stretch. You can also find hotels and hostels around here. Buy a bottle of beer from a convenient store and walk the whole street. Take pictures of the exotic food for 10baht.
